Key Worker

What is a Key Worker?

A Key Worker is a dedicated, trusted professional (Allied Health Practitioner or Early Childhood Teacher) who acts as your family’s main point of contact and advocate throughout your child’s support journey. They play a crucial role in coordinating and integrating the various services and therapies your child receives, ensuring that everyone involved is working towards the same goals. By providing clear communication and consistent support, a Key Worker helps reduce confusion, streamline access to services, and make the often complex process of managing support much easier for families.

The role of a Key Worker goes beyond simple coordination — they build meaningful relationships with your family, understand your unique needs, and tailor support to suit your child’s strengths and challenges. They act as a guide, mentor, and problem-solver, helping you navigate health, education, and community services with confidence.
