Behaviour Support for Adults

Specialised Behaviour Support for Adults

At Spear & Arrow Therapeutic, we provide specialised Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) for adults who want to live as independently, confidently, and meaningfully as possible. We understand that behaviours of concern are often a way of communicating needs, frustrations, or challenges.

We work alongside adults, their families, carers, and support networks to provide practical, evidence-based strategies that can be applied at home, in the community, and within support settings. Our approach focuses on building independence, self-advocacy, and participation in everyday life.

How We Support Adults

Adults (18–65 years)

Our PBS programs are tailored to each adult’s strengths, goals, and aspirations. We work closely with participants and their support networks to develop personalised plans that help build independence and daily living skills, improve communication and emotional regulation, support informed decision-making, and enhance community participation and social connections. Through this approach, we aim to empower adults to manage behaviours of concern, achieve their personal goals, and live a life that reflects their unique needs, choices, and aspirations.
